A Proven Leader
for Connecticut’s Working Families
Julie Kushner is fighting for affordability, strong public schools, and good jobs—right here in Danbury, Ridgefield, and New Fairfield.
A Senator
For Everyone.
For more than forty years, Julie brought people together to win real change—from organizing secretaries in New York to fighting for working families here in Connecticut. After retiring from the United Auto Workers, she ran for the State Senate in 2018 to get big things done—and she’s delivered ever since.
Julie and her husband, Larry, have called Danbury home for over 30 years. She’s a proud parent of three adult children—all graduates of Danbury Public Schools—and a proud grandmother of four.
Delivering for Connecticut Families
Julie believes results matter.
